So What is the City’s Advance Card?

The Advance Card is the terrific Leisure access programme for Worcester City. It offers great value across the full range of leisure services provided either directly by the City Council , or through its partner Leisure Connection Limited. There are lots of payment options from cash on the day to monthly Direct Debit or one off payments.

A). The Advance + Card.

This card is available to everyone and entitles the individual named on the card to book courts and certain activity sessions up to seven days in advance . The card is valid for one year.

B). The Advance 25 Card.

This card gives you 25% off the standard charge for the majority of the activities for the individual named on the card , plus the booking benefits of the Advance +Card. It is available to students studying or residing in the City Of Worcester , juniors , under 16’s and the over 60’s.

C). The Advance 50 Card.

This gives the named user 50% off the standard charge for the majority of activities , plus the booking benefits of the Advance + Card.

It is only available to residents who pay council tax to the City Of Worcester and are in receipt of the specified means-tested benefits ( see application form).

How long does it last?

For 12 months on the Advance + and Advance 25 card. Advance 50 card holders are required to prove their eligibility on a quarterly basis. *Please note -There is a charge for a replacement card.

D). The Advance Inclusive Annual Fee or Direct Debit Scheme.

The Advance Inclusive Card allows unlimited access to the majority of the activities at St. Johns Sports Centre and Nunnery Wood Sports Complex.

So who can apply?

Anyone who wants to take part in their favourite activities on a regular basis can benefit financially from purchasing an Advance Inclusive Card.

What are the benefits of the Advance Inclusive?

The Advance Inclusive card gives you unlimited use at St. Johns Sports Centre and Nunnery Wood Sports Complex of the following activities; Badminton , Squash , Racketball , Table Tennis ( all one court per night) , Harpers Fitness Suite , Fitness Classes , Creche, Athletic Track (Nunnery Wood Only) , Creche. Please note - we cannot accept membership cancellation requests by  phone. Thank you.

How Do I obtain an Advance Card?

Just fill in the application form available at either St. Johns Sports Centre or Nunnery Wood Sports Complex, produce the necessary validation documentation (Only necessary when applying for an Advance 50 card) pay the fee, and a card will be issued by a Customer Advisor within the next few days. You can then start using the card immediately.
