Our Harpers Fitness suites offer a wide variety of the very latest fitness equipment including both cardio-vascular and resistance training equipment.

The Harpers Fitness suites at Nunnery Wood Sports Complex and St Johns Sports Centre both have a number of Treadmills, bikes, rowers, step machines and cross trainer machines.

Both gyms also offer a number of resistance training options including a wide variety of fixed machines as well as free weights.

The wide variety of equipment will cater for everyone’s health and fitness needs, whether your goal is to maintain general fitness, lose weight, tone up, develop strength or train for a specific sport you’ll find every thing you need at Harpers.
DID YOU KNOW-FITNESS TESTS AND BODYSTAT TESTS ARE FREE FOR ALL INCLUSIVE MEMBERS , AT BOTH SITES?
The minimum age for use of the Harpers gyms is 14 years at both facilities.

Fitness Room Do’s & Don’ts

Do’s

  • Warm up before and cool down after your session.
  • Carry a towel and wipe down equipment after use.
  • Wear suitable clothing.
  • Drink plenty of water before, during and after your work out to make sure you keep your body well hydrated.

Don’ts

  • Stay on any equipment for more than 10 minutes if other people are waiting.
  • Exercise if you are feeling unwell.
  • Eat a large meal within two hours of starting exercise.
  • Take bags/coats into fitness suite.
